Andrew Oliver MRICS
Andrew is a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer with over 40 years’ experience in the property profession.
He has spent the majority of his working life in Birmingham, working for major firms, including Edwards Bigwood & Bewlay, Chesterton, Atisreal and BNP Paribas Real Estate. From 2012 to 2015 Andrew worked as a consultant with Shortland Penn + Moore in Coventry, before moving to Wolverhampton to work for Towler Shaw Roberts; he moved back to Coventry to join Holt Commercial in March 2020.
During his career as a valuer, Andrew has gained considerable experience working on some high profile projects, including being part of a team that valued Birmingham Airport, valuing the former Staffordshire Building Society’s property portfolio on a rolling basis and for many years co-ordinating the annual valuation of the Midlands Co-operative Society’s investment portfolio of about 500 non-trading properties. He has also carried out valuations for all the major banks and many building societies.
When not working Andrew enjoys travelling abroad, cycling and gardening. He follows the fortunes or, more often, the misfortunes of Newcastle United
