David Allen FRICS
David joined from Shortland Penn + Moore where he was a Director, having previously worked for a number of national practices in Birmingham. With over 40 years’ experience in the industry, specialising in investment and development funding, he has been involved in a large number of high profile schemes in the commercial sector as well as increasingly acting for private property investors.
He has recently been active in the alternative investment sector funding Gilders Yard, a 152 bed PRS scheme in Birmingham and the Hockley Mills £100m PRS development, also in Birmingham. He has also sold several roadside developments. In addition he is involved in the purchase of a number of purpose built student accommodation sites.
David is a former member of Birmingham Civic Society Planning Committee and was a long term member of the Investment Property Forum Midlands Board, having previously been Midlands Chairman.
Outside of work, hobbies include recreational tennis following retirement from the rugby field, where he was a member of Moseley Rugby Club after achieving a Blue at Cambridge University.
