A Coventry firm which helps protect visitors to some of the UK’s largest events against potential vehicle-ramming attacks has expanded into a new headquarters after seeing extensive growth during the last 12 months.
StadiumTM, which supplies services to the events industry, has relocated to a 9,000 sq ft unit in Walsgrave which will host all of its operational and office space after assistance from Holt Commercial.
The move has enabled the HVM (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation) solutions and event services company to take on eight new members of staff as it continues to grow its client base of high-profile industry names, with room to expand further in the future.
As well as delivering unique and mobile temporary security barriers which protect members of the public from vehicle ramming attacks, the firm also supplies traffic management, stewarding, security and training services to the events industry.
Just this year, StadiumTM has provided services to local events including Godiva Festival, BBC Radio’s Biggest Weekend and the Rolling Stones performing at the Ricoh Arena as well as events across the country including the London Marathon, the Fever-Tree Championships at Queen’s Club and the Blackpool Illuminations switch-on event.
The firm has signed an eight year lease on the property in Bodmin Road, which was marketed by city based commercial property agents Holt Commercial.
StadiumTM Managing Director, David McAtamney said “We are very happy to move into our new headquarters. We have seen continued growth during the last 12 months and show no signs of slowing down, so our new building will help facilitate this. HMV solutions are the newest area of the business, and we are seeing more and more organisations in the events industry looking at ways to protect crowds from the threat of vehicle ramming attacks. Being based centrally in Coventry means we are very well placed to respond and help make places safe across the UK. There are also lots of exciting things coming up in the city and the wider region including Coventry being City of Culture 2021 and the 2022 Commonwealth Games. We would like to thank Holt Commercial for helping to find this property. It is very important that we grow here in this region and we will be looking to take on a range of new staff in the future as our expansion continues.”
Rupert Gillitt, of Holt Commercial, said “StadiumTM has experienced a considerable amount of growth and continues to attract a number of high profile clients in the events industry. Their new headquarters will help streamline operations by bringing all services under one roof and provide more space to expand further. It’s great to see them investing in their future in the city.”
