A new £4 million supported-living development is underway in Coventry after Holt Commercial acted in the sale of the former Broadstreet Rugby Club social club.

The scheme, on Henley Road, will see the creation of 19 new apartments by HBV Group.

Peter Holt, Managing Director of Holt Commercial, acted on behalf of the vendor and said the development was bringing welcome investment to the city.

He said “We were very pleased to conclude the sale to HBV Group and it’s great to see that work is already underway.  This is an area of the property market that remains very buoyant and this new scheme is bringing investment, jobs and much needed supported-living homes to Coventry.”

The development is expected to be completed by the middle of 2023 with the first residents moving in soon after.

Andy Smith, Secretary to the Trustees of Broadstreet Rugby Football Club, added “It’s great to see work begin on this new development which will become an important asset for Coventry.  We have a great working relationship with Holt Commercial and by concluding this sale we will be able to make further investment to develop and improve other aspects of Broadstreet Rugby Club.”
