It’s a case of seven-up for Holt Commercial as the positive momentum continues since the formation of the company.

The firm was established earlier this year after a merger between D&P Holt Ltd and Shortland Penn + Moore and, since then, the company has struck a series of major deals and has landed a host of new instructions.  Additionally, Holt Commercial is continuing to market available space for Coventry City Council on seven office and industrial properties across the city.

Chris Hobday, who joined Holt Commercial recently as an agency surveyor, said “It’s been extremely busy since the moment I arrived.  My impression of the company before I joined was that there was a real momentum within the firm and in the region – and that is being backed up by the level of enquiries and the number of new instructions.  We are extremely pleased to be acting on behalf of Coventry City Council on properties around the city and are working hard to market those to ensure we find new occupiers.  We’ve already had considerable interest on the various properties and are expectant that further instructions of a similar ilk will follow soon.”

Each of the properties is available to let and include offices in two city centre buildings with available suites ranging of 2,469 sq ft up to 8,295 sq ft.  On the industrial front, the market is thriving with multiple applicants for a number of smaller units including two 1,040 sq ft units and a 1,504 sq ft unit available on the Aldermans Green Industrial Estate.  Also available on the same Estate is a unit of 4,617 sq ft.

The biggest of the instructions is a 13,867 sq ft industrial building known as Progress House on Rowley Drive near Coventry Airport. Such is the current demand for industrial premises this has already gone under offer.
