A key member of the Holt Commercial Property Management team has qualified as a Chartered Surveyor.
Luke Whittaker joined the company in 2012 and began a BSc in Estate Management at University College of Estate Management (UCEM) via distance learning alongside full-time employment with Holt Commercial.
During that time, he started the APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) process which began two years of structured training to be a fully-qualified surveyor.
Luke completed his degree with First Class honours in April 2018 and then, in the past few weeks, he passed the APC to become a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
He said “I am absolutely thrilled to have qualified and to become a member of the RICS. Many years of hard work have paid off and I would like to thank Holt Commercial for the opportunity and support they have given me. I have learnt so much from the team here during a very exciting period for the business.”
Nick Holt, Director of Holt Commercial, said “Huge congratulations to Luke. He’s an important member of the team here and we are all very proud of his achievements. We manage a range of sites across the Midlands region – from industrial estates through to office developments – and it is an area of the business that we feel we can grow based on the excellent service we deliver and Luke is very much part of that.”
