A Midlands based commercial property agency has made a double appointment and a senior promotion as part of its drive for growth.

Holt Commercial, which is headquartered in Coventry and also has an office in Birmingham, has promoted Ed Jenkinson to Director after two and a half years with the business.

The company has also taken on Ed Twiss as a Director and Head of Property Management and added Jamie Morby as a Surveyor.

It follows the acquisition of Coventry based surveying consultancy Drake Howard’s management portfolio earlier this year and sees the overall headcount at Holt Commercial rise to 17, including consultants.

Director, Nick Holt said “The market is very busy right now and we are ambitious to grow, which has included both acquisition and also organic growth.  We’re thrilled to have Ed Twiss and Jamie on board as very positive additions to the team, on both the property management and agency side.  I’m also really pleased to see Ed Jenkinson become a Director within the business which is recognition of the outstanding progress he’s made with us since joining in 2023.”

Jenkinson joined from Bruton Knowles as a Senior Surveyor and quickly established himself as a key member of the team; rising to Associate before becoming a Director.  

He said “I am excited by the opportunities for Holt to grow and, in this new role, I can play an even more active part in decision making and driving future expansion.  We are completing on a substantial number of deals and seeing a lot of instructions, which is really positive news.”

Twiss joins from Freshwater in London following a relocation to the Midlands after spending around 11 years working in commercial property in the capital.  He said “The company has invested heavily in the property management department, with new staff, the acquisition of Drake Howard’s management portfolio and new systems which gives us real strength in this sector within the region.  This is an exciting time for the business.”

And Morby joins from nearby Loveitts, where he spent three years in the residential team before moving into commercial agency. He said “This was a great opportunity to progress my career in commercial property, with an opportunity to learn from some great people and also have support from the business to achieve my qualifications.”
